There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion throughout the evening. Food and beverages, including adult beverages will be served out on the track during this learning experience.

We are looking forward to seeing you on August 2.
Note: If possible, take advantage of the track-walk with Tom & myself on July 31.

Support the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic on Friday, 7/31
SPECIAL MEMBER RATE OF $75 FOR THIS EVENT!
Proceeds benefit the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic. The WGMC treats, educates, and empowers patients every day. With the help of over 300 volunteers, the small paid staff at the clinic aids in transforming the lives of those without access to healthcare. In Will County that includes over 40,000 people, many who work every day but still have no access to care. For every $1 donated, the clinic is able to provide $16 in health care. The Clinic is the only safety-net clinic serving the two county area of Will and Grundy counties.
We are a free clinic open Monday through Friday. We offer comprehensive health and dental care provided by onsite volunteer general practitioners, dentists, hygienists, and specialty physicians; we have no paid doctors or dentists on staff. The patients we treat receive thorough care, including in many cases their medications at minimal or no cost. Supporting this event saves lives and you can be assured that your donation stays within the Will and Grundy county area, helping your neighbors. The clinic is not state or federally funded; we rely heavily on the goodness and charity of our neighbors and friends to keep doing the work we’ve been doing for almost 30 years.
Event runs from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. Touring is available from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Food and live music will begin after touring!

“Race With Restraint” Proves Grassroots Racers Want, Will Use More Safety Equipment At Affordable Rate
The first attempt at bringing top-of-the-line safety equipment to the grassroots racing masses – particularly those who can’t afford high-ticket items like HANS devices and high-tech helmets – was an unqualified success.
The Motorsport Safety Foundation, formed last year, debuted its “Race With Restraint” initiative this past weekend at the 24 Hours of LeMons at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Ill.
McD Icons Of The Road Car Show
Please mark your calendars for Saturday August 8th. Niko Karavites will be hosting a ‘One of a Kind’ exotic car show at the Rock -n- Roll McDonald’s downtown. There will be a small donation of $10 to the Ronald McDonald Children’s Charity, but trust me, it will be totally worth it. This will be unlike any car show you’ve ever been to. The cars at this event are extremely rare; the kind of cars you only read about in the magazines. Niko has reached out to a few collectors, and they have all agreed to showcase their cars to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Children’s Charities. Please take a look at the flyer and visit the web site for more information, but in short, here it is:
Date: Saturday August 8th
Location: Rock -n- Roll McDonald’s (600 N. Clark)
Time: 10am – 5pm
Cars: 35, and all of them awesome (the total value will be over 50 million dollars)
Racing simulator located upstairs
Please see the flyer attached (many of the cars are listed there)
You know you love cars, and these are the best of the best. Even if cars are not your thing, please still come out and support the event. It will be a great time, and everything goes to supporting the charity.
Jack Mitchell – Exciting Times Ahead
Chicago, Ill. – The days leading up to a race weekend are always exciting, but this week definitely feels special. This weekend I will be competing in my first-ever race in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda with Afterburner Autosport at Mid-Ohio, one of my favorite tracks.
Fall-Line’s Race Ends Early At Lime Rock
Lakeville, CT (July 27, 2015) – The Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3 driven by Ashley Freiberg and Trent Hindman had another tough weekend at Lime Rock Park. The 2015 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season has had it’s ups and downs for the talented young duo. After capturing their first podium of the season at Watkins Glen the team hasn’t finished in the past two races.
